Anquet Maps Mac is our GPS software for your iPhone which allows you to take your GPS maps outside with you.

You can define your own digital map from within our map software, pay for it and download it for use straight away.

Our easy to use map software gives you access to the largest range of digital mapping in the UK, including Ordnance Survey Explorer, Ordnance Survey Landranger, Aerial Photography and A-Z Street Atlases. Anquet are continually expanding the range of digital maps available.

Please note: Users cannot currently export Anquet maps from their Windows PC to either Anquet Maps iPhone or Anquet Mac Maps.

Anquet Maps Mac Explained

Anquet Maps Mac software provides easy to use route planning tools with digital maps for your Mac and iPhone (with Anquet Maps iPhone, sold separately). The map software can also be used to directly program routes and waypoints which can then be transferred to your iPhone.

You then pay for the digital maps you select from cartographers such as Ordnance Survey, Philips, Harvey, Getmapping etc. Anquet is a licensed partner of all these organisations.

Once you have purchased maps using the Mac Software, digital maps and routes can be transferred and installed onto your iPhone at no extra cost. Anquet Maps Mac also enables you to print an unlimited number of maps at A4 size for personal use.

Downloading Maps

Anquet Maps Mac is unique in allowing you to cut and immediately download mapping from providers such as the Ordnance Survey, directly to your Mac. You are no longer restricted to predefined areas, so it becomes more economical to acquire areas that traditionally cross multiple maps. In addition there are no seams across all your adjacent mapping.

To download, you must have installed Anquet Maps Mac with a working internet connection. The inbuilt Map Manager will then allow you to:

• Create or login into your account,
• Cut the area & map type you want using a large super-planner map. The price is dynamically shown as you mark the area of interest.
• Instantly pay for the mapping using credit card/debit card. 
• Instantly download the map to your installation.
• You can subsequently transfer the map to your iPhone if you have purchased Anquet Maps iPhone so you have your maps whilst in the great outdoors!
